Art Exhibition and Gallery Framing
Professional framing and high-quality printing tailored for artists, galleries, and exhibitions.
We were thrilled to work with Shari Academy for their photography exhibition, printing and framing the incredible work of their students. It's a privilege to hear their feedback and know our work helped bring their creative vision to life.
As an artist herself, our consultant Supriya understood the frustration of the framing process. This led us to develop the Framed Blank Canvas, a ready-to-paint stretched canvas in a solid wood floater frame, so artists can focus on creating.
We were fortunate to frame Mahua Lahiri's beautiful Kantha artworks for her exhibition. Kantha is a traditional craft of upcycling old fabrics, and we used a mix of solid wood, metal, and fiber frames to honor this unique textile art.
For artist Snehal's exhibition of giclée prints, we took a minimalist approach. Using a combination of metal and wooden frames, some with vibrant colors and float mounting, we ensured each piece was presented with clean, modern elegance.
A small tip for artists: always finish the edges of your canvas. A painted edge allows for more framing options, like a modern floater frame, and prevents the artwork from being partially covered by a traditional box frame.
When framing a canvas, we recommend avoiding glass to let the artwork breathe. We also use treated, finger-jointed wood for our stretcher bars to prevent bending over time, and suggest a floater frame to showcase the entire piece.
For a recent art gallery exhibition, we framed over 20 intricate artworks. We used high-quality HDF frames and UV-coated museum glass on all of them to eliminate glare and ensure the pieces will last for years to come.
We love working with artists like Vishakha from Vikikistudio. It's always a pleasure to consult on the best framing choices for her paintings and see her work come to life for her exhibitions.
We've been working with pet portrait artist Meghna for two years, and it was a thrill to frame this massive 6x4 feet portrait for her. We take great pride in delivering quality that meets the standards of professional artists.
It was an honor to frame stunning astrophotographs by world-renowned astronomers for the Cosmic Fest. We worked closely with the organizers to ensure the framing was as classy and captivating as the images themselves.
About Framing for Artists, Galleries & Exhibitions
When you are prepping for an exhibition, the frame choice can either make your art pop or distract from it. We act as your project partners, using our digital preview software to test mat colors and frame profiles before we cut a single piece of wood, ensuring the final result is exactly what you envisioned for your gallery wall.
Exhibiting artwork in a gallery requires a different approach than hanging a piece at home. You need framing that is consistent, durable, and clean. We use acid-free, lignin-free conservation mats and Tru Vue Museum Glass to ensure that your colors remain true and the surface is protected from UV damage.
We understand the specific challenges of displaying art in Mumbai. The humidity is real, and it can warp inferior frames or damage prints. We use finger-jointed, treated wood for stretcher bars and D-rings that can actually handle the weight of exhibition pieces. If you are showcasing canvases, we generally recommend floater frames over box frames to allow the entire painting surface to be visible, preventing the slight cropping that box frames often cause.
For artists and galleries, we offer a full service, including high-resolution giclée printing. We can print on archival-grade watercolor rag or canvas, then move directly into framing. Our digital preview tool is particularly useful for exhibition planning; you can see exactly how different mat sizes or frame profiles will look against your specific wall color before you commit to the order. Whether you have twenty pieces or one, we help you make design decisions that protect your investment.
