Standard Custom Framing
Core Frame Build
- Materials: 100% Solid Wood (treated) or Anodized Aluminum. No plastic or polystyrene used.
- Joinery: V-nailed corners reinforced with wood glue for structural integrity.
Protection & Glazing
- Glass: Standard Clear Acrylic (shatter-resistant) or Clear Float Glass.
- Matting: Single layer Peterboro Conservation Matboard (Acid-free & Lignin-free) to prevent print damage.
Finishing
- Backing: Sealed acid-free foam core or MDF to prevent dust ingress.
- Hardware: Pre-installed professional D-rings and stranded steel wire.
Canvas Floater Framing
Canvas Prep
- Stretching: Professional drum-tight stretching on seasoned pine bars to prevent warping.
The Floater Design
- Profile: L-shaped frame creating a 5mm to 10mm reveal (gap) between canvas and frame.
- Material: Premium Veneer Wood (Oak/Walnut finish) or Solid Color (Black/White).
Mounting
- Assembly: Canvas screwed from the back for a secure flush mount.
- Backing: Breathable Tyvek or Kraft paper dust cover.
- Hardware: Heavy-duty strap hangers or wall cleats.
3D Shadow Box Framing
Structural Engineering
- Depth: Deep-rebate moulding (1" to 4" depth) to accommodate 3D objects.
- Mechanics: Invisible mounting (sewing, wiring, or pinning). No damaging glue guns used on the object.
Interiors
- Lining: Interior walls and base lined with Premium Suede or Velvet matboard.
- Design: Custom layout for arranging multiple items (e.g., jersey plus ticket stub).
Protection
- Glazing: UV Protective Acrylic (lightweight and safe for deep frames).
- Sealing: Hermetically sealed environment to prevent dust and fungus accumulation.
Museum-Grade Conservation Framing
Superior Glazing
- Glass: Tru Vue Museum Glass with <1% reflection (invisible finish).
- Protection: Blocks 99% of UV rays to prevent fading of ink and colors.
Conservation Mounting
- Technique: Reversible Japanese T-Hinging using archival tapes (Filmoplast).
- Matting: Double thickness (8-Ply) 100% Cotton Rag or Alpha-Cellulose boards.
Premium Build
- Moulding: Selection from premium Barcelona or Granada pure wood series.
- Assembly: Spacers included to ensure glass never touches the artwork; assembled in a dust-free environment.

My Story
We call ourselves Framebazaar. We started out in a tiny Andheri workshop, now we’re in Goregaon, but our vibe’s the same - frame what you love, no matter what it is. Art, old Shrinathji, your lucky cricket jersey, whatever. We built our own software so you can see your frame before you buy, no more price shocks. For us, every frame is a story, and we want yours to last.
