About Our Artisan Soaps & Skincare
I use the cold process method, which means every bar cures for four to six weeks. This slow patience allows the natural oils, mahua butter, and clays to develop their properties without high heat. It results in a soap that stays gentle on your skin and lasts much longer in your shower compared to factory-made bars.
My process is about removing the rush from skincare. By focusing on small batches, I maintain complete control over what goes into every bar. You won't find synthetic hardeners or plastic wrap here. Instead, I use plant-based ingredients like coconut, olive, and castor oils, often blended with kokum or mango butter for a creamy lather.
Why Cold Process?
Most commercial soaps are made quickly to maximize output. My cold process method preserves the integrity of the natural oils. It is better for sensitive skin because the glycerin, a natural humectant that draws moisture to your skin, is retained in the bar rather than stripped away.
Ingredients I Love
- Clays and Botanicals: I use French green clay for decongesting oily skin and rose petal powder for pigmentation.
- Natural Butters: Mahua and kokum butters provide deep nourishment without feeling greasy.
- Indigo and Spices: These provide natural colour and mild therapeutic benefits.
A Note on Sustainability
Everything I make is zero-waste. My packaging uses recycled paper, tins, and jute string. When you order from my studio in Thane, your items arrive in plastic-free materials that can be composted or repurposed.
How to Use
