We transform exhibitions into narrative-led spaces. By selecting items that whisper rather than shout, we create experiences that invite visitors to slow down and reflect.

A preview of the 'Precious Objects' exhibition, showcasing a curated selection of unique chairs, art, and decor. Each piece is presented as a page in a storybook, highlighting its individual form and artistic merit.

This video highlights more of the curated items from 'Precious Objects'. The collection features a wide range of design objects, from furniture and lighting to sculpture and textiles, all united by their exceptional craftsmanship and narrative depth.

For a collaboration with Beruru, we designed an unconventional Diwali poker night setting. The tablescape features a sophisticated black, white, and green palette with asymmetrical arrangements and varied heights to create a sensual, modern festive experience.

About Art & Object Curation

Beyond just placing items, our process focuses on the spatial narrative. For our 'Precious Objects' exhibition in Hyderabad, we developed a non-linear zoning plan that encouraged visitors to meander, treating each display not as a product stand, but as a page in a storybook. This approach ensures your exhibition engages the senses and creates a genuine pause in the visitor's day.

Our Philosophy on Exhibition Design

We approach every exhibition as a blank page. Our goal is not simply to fill a room, but to build an experience that pulls the visitor into a specific story. Whether it is a product launch or an art showcase, we focus on the interplay between the objects and the architecture of the space.

The Process: Narrative to Execution

  • Concept Development: We start by defining a philosophical theme—like 'Quiet Luxury'—to ground the event. This concept note dictates every decision, from lighting intensity to the flow of movement.
  • Object & Vendor Selection: We identify and coordinate with 15 to 20 artists or brands to bring the right textures and forms into the room. We select specific SKUs (rugs, sculptures, lighting) that align with the exhibition's emotional goal.
  • Spatial Zoning: We design layouts that encourage meandering rather than a linear walk-through. This helps in slowing down the visitor's pace, allowing them to truly notice the objects on display.

Sensory Integration

Design is more than visual. To create a full-bodied experience, we provide a digital lookbook that includes recommendations for auditory playlists and olfactory notes (scents) that complement the visual theme. This ensures the environment feels consistent and immersive from the moment a guest enters. We handle the heavy lifting, including two days of on-site styling to ensure every table setting, candle, and accent piece sits exactly where it belongs.

We are Farah and Dhaval, and we believe design should hold a story. At FADD Studio, we do not rely on templates; we treat every exhibition and event as a unique artistic installation that demands its own rhythm.
