About this collection
I do not use generic kits. For traditional events like Seemantham or Haldi, I visit the venue to decide how to use fresh marigolds and banana leaves. This process ensures the flower garlands stay fresh and the setup fits the room dimensions without cluttering your space.
How We Approach Family Celebrations
Family events often require a balance between tradition and aesthetics. Whether it is a traditional Seemantham or a modern Mehandi function, the decor needs to be functional so that the family can perform rituals comfortably.
Fresh Floral Designs We prioritize the use of fresh flowers for all traditional backdrops. For Haldi and naming ceremonies, we use fresh marigolds and jasmine because they hold up well during the event and provide a natural, festive look. We ensure these are sourced and arranged on the day of the event to maintain their appearance.
Custom Traditional Setups
- Haldi and Mehandi: We create backdrops using green mats or banana leaves as a base, accented with marigold strings and traditional props like brass pots. This setup provides a clean background for photos without overpowering the ceremony.
- Baby Showers (Seemantham): We focus on creating a comfortable seating area, often utilizing traditional fabric drapes and specific floral arrangements that respect cultural requirements while looking modern.
- Naming Ceremonies: For these, we often incorporate customized elements, including balloon arches if requested, but our core focus remains on the stage backdrop and entry decor.
Planning Your Setup When you contact us, we discuss the space constraints of your home or hall. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all. If your space is small, we adjust the frame size and flower density to make sure the area looks full but not crowded. If you have specific religious or cultural themes in mind, let us know early so we can plan the necessary materials.
