About this collection
For half-saree functions, the seer plate arrangement is usually the biggest headache for families. I take that off your hands—I handle the wrapping, stacking, and styling of all your fruits and gifts, so your display looks consistent and neat. Whether you need a full stage setup or just the plates, I will make sure it fits your venue and your budget.
Making the ceremony special
I believe a puberty ceremony should be a beautiful, traditional event, not a stressful one. My setups are designed to look great in photos while keeping that authentic South Indian touch. Whether you want a traditional look or something a bit more modern, I work with the space you have to make it look right.
How I style your setup
Backdrops:
- Checkerboard Pattern: This is my signature style for these functions. I use fresh marigolds and green leaves to create a grid pattern that looks elegant and traditional.
- Floral Hoops & Curtains: If you prefer a lighter, more contemporary aesthetic, I also do white or pastel drapes paired with floral hoops and Edison bulbs.
Seer Plate Arrangements: I don't just set up the stage; I handle the presentation of your seer plates. I bring the wicker baskets, cane trays, and decorative dolls. You provide the fruits, sweets, and gifts, and I handle the netting, ribbons, and styling so everything looks uniform. I can dress the dolls in traditional sarees to match the event's vibe.
Practical details
- Fresh Flowers: I primarily use fresh marigolds, tuberose (malli poo), and roses. These give the best scent and look for traditional functions.
- Budget-Friendly Options: You don't need to overspend to get a good setup. We can mix fresh flowers with high-quality artificial props to keep costs down without losing the visual impact.
- Flexibility: I can come in to set up just the stage, just the plates, or handle the entire venue entrance and seating area. If you have a specific theme in mind, tell me, and we will make it happen.
