Event Decor Highlights: Custom Themes & Traditional Setups
From intimate naming ceremonies to grand haldi setups, here is a collection of my favorite projects. Every event here is designed to be fully customizable and budget-friendly, bringing your vision to life in any space.
A classic and elegant naming ceremony setup. I used strings of fresh tuberose (malli poo) and a floral border of red and white roses to create a beautiful backdrop for the decorated thottilu (cradle).
This is a complete setup for a half-saree function, showing both the main stage and the traditional seer plate arrangement. The backdrop features a unique checkerboard pattern of fresh marigolds and green leaves.
A traditional entrance chapra for a Gruhapravesam or housewarming ceremony. I use real banana trunks, mango leaves, and garlands of marigold and chrysanthemums to create an authentic and auspicious welcome.
A vibrant Haldi ceremony backdrop. The combination of bright yellow and pink drapes, along with decorative Rajasthani umbrellas, creates a festive and photo-ready setting for the celebration.
For a modern take on a baby shower, I designed this butterfly theme. The setup includes a custom backdrop, a multi-colored balloon arch, and themed props like the butterfly cutouts and pedestal stands.
This is a traditional floral entrance for a home event. The doorway is framed with intricate garlands made of fresh flowers and green leaves, setting a festive tone right from the start.
A close-up of my popular crescent-moon cradle design. I cover the entire structure with fresh white daisies and other flowers, making it a stunning centerpiece for any naming ceremony or baby shower.
About this collection
A lot of people worry that getting a custom look means blowing the budget, but my approach is to prioritize the elements that make the biggest impact. Whether it is using fresh marigolds and banana leaves for a classic home entrance or sourcing specific themed props for a baby shower, I focus on what actually shows up in your photos. Let's talk about what is most important for your space, and I will help you stick to your budget.
My Approach to Event Styling
I believe decoration should be about reflecting your personal style and traditions, not just following a standard package. My work across Bangalore covers everything from traditional South Indian ceremonies—like housewarmings and half-saree functions—to modern, themed parties.
Traditional & Cultural Decor I love working with authentic elements. For Gruhapravesam or naming ceremonies, I use real banana trunks, mango leaves, and fresh jasmine (malli poo) garlands. These aren't just decorations; they create that specific, auspicious vibe that families look for. My seer plate arrangements also follow this philosophy—each tray is carefully styled with netting, lace, and dolls to ensure the presentation is as good as the gifts themselves.
Modern & Themed Events When it comes to baby showers or birthday parties, I switch gears. I enjoy creating contrast by mixing modern materials like balloon arches or foam board cutouts with traditional seating and floral accents. If you have a specific theme in mind, like a butterfly setup or a particular color palette, tell me about it. We can work together to make sure the backdrop and prop placement create a perfect photo opportunity.
Practical Planning I handle the setup details so you don’t have to stress. I plan the timing for things like entrance arches to ensure everything is fresh when your guests arrive. I am transparent about what I can do with your budget—if you want just the stage decor or only the seer plates, I am happy to work with you on a smaller scale. My goal is simple: a beautiful, stress-free setup that fits your event.
