Choosing the right composter is about matching the bin to your space, not just the features on the label. Here, I demonstrate how the Eva, Ebony, and Elements models handle real-world waste, moisture, and aeration.

When choosing a composter, there are three key things to look for: ample aeration, a separate leachate collection system, and a tap to drain excess moisture. Keeping these in mind will make your composting routine much easier.

The filter fabric in the Eva Home Composter is a small but crucial component. It prevents the tap from clogging with debris, ensuring excess moisture can drain freely. This simple piece of fabric solves many potential problems like bad odor and maggots.

I'm happy to announce that the popular Eva Home Composter is back in stock. This is a fantastic, high-performing composter that makes the process clean and simple, perfect for beginners.

Here is the Eva composter in action in the home of my friend, Vani Murthy. It shows that composting can be a clean, simple, and purposeful part of your daily life, connecting you back to nature.

This video, also from Vani Murthy, shows how easy it is to add daily kitchen waste to the Eva composter. It's a seamless process of giving back to the soil what you take from it.

On World Environment Day, I was excited to soft-launch the Ebony, our new 3-tier aerobic home composter. It's designed for vertical space management and excellent aeration, making it ideal for small balconies.

This video explains the simple and repeatable process of using the Ebony Home Composter. It shows that composting can be done neatly even in a balcony right next to your living room.

Here is a trial update on Day 7 for the Ebony composter. We're seeing good temperature buildup, and importantly, no moisture at the bottom, which indicates the 360-degree aeration is working effectively.

A remarkable update on Day 10 of the Ebony trial. The temperature hit 57 degrees Celsius, which is excellent for a small pile. This high heat and fantastic microbial action mean fast, efficient composting.

This is Day 1 of the Ebony composter trial. We filled it with shredded kitchen waste mixed with cocopeat and our Excelerator compost culture. I'm testing it in a corner with poor aeration to see how it performs in a challenging spot.

About Composter Demos & Products

You don't need a fancy setup, you need the right mechanics. A reliable composter must manage three things: proper aeration, leachate collection, and a drainage tap. If your bin lacks these, you will struggle with odours and maggots regardless of the design. I build my units specifically to solve these common failure points so you can compost with confidence.
