Hands-on Learning & Innovation Workshops
Experience our approach to education through this curated look at our workshops in Panathur. From robotics and woodworking to design thinking, see how we turn curiosity into capability.
Here at the Learner’s League, I see learning come alive. This is where your child can dive into robotics at the TechTinker Lab, express stories through movement in Think Rhythm, and build everything from stomp rockets to rubber-powered cars in The Maker's Lab. It’s a complete experience of innovation, teamwork, and unforgettable, hands-on learning.
Welcome to a hands-on 3D Printing and Robotics experience where ideas become tangible. In my workshops, I guide students through the world of design, engineering, and automation, allowing them to build and program their own unique creations from scratch. This is where future innovators explore real-time prototyping and robotics.
There is immense pride in creating something with your own hands. In my Maker Space, children don't just learn woodworking; they build confidence, problem-solving skills, and bring their ideas to life, like these wonderful wooden robots. This is the joy of hands-on learning in action.
What if learning felt like play? With clay, it does. My Clay Creations workshop is a therapeutic and fun experience where children mold, create, and grow. It’s a space to build fine motor skills, encourage problem-solving, and let imagination take shape.
I believe learning is a journey best shared. In my family workshops, parents and children create side by side, like in this portrait painting session. These moments of shared creativity are not just about art; they foster connection, strengthen emotional bonds, and create memories that last a lifetime.
This is the culmination of our Design Thinking Challenge. Watch as students confidently present their innovative solutions to real-world problems. My goal is to nurture not just creators, but also articulate communicators who can collaborate, lead, and inspire change.
In our fast-paced world, I believe in creating a space to slow down. My yoga and mindfulness sessions are designed to help children find balance, focus, and inner calm. It's about nurturing their holistic wellbeing, on and off the mat.
Every child is a storyteller waiting to be heard. In my workshops for young readers and writers, I create a world where imagination and creativity flourish. Here, children proudly display the characters they’ve brought to life, a testament to their growing confidence and unique voice.
About Featured
We treat our Makery and Atelier as essential extensions of the classroom, where the goal is not just a finished project, but the process of iteration. Whether your child is coding a robot or molding clay, they are applying concepts like design thinking and mechanical physics in real-time, moving from abstract ideas to tangible prototypes.
Our Approach: Learn, Think, Do
At Ekya Nava, we believe that education happens when children are given the space to build, mess up, and try again. Our philosophy moves away from rote learning. We focus on purpose-based activities that require students to observe, ideate, and construct solutions.
Where Learning Happens
Our Panathur campus is designed to spark curiosity, featuring specialized labs that differ from standard classrooms:
- The Makery: A dedicated space for tinkering, woodworking, and robotics. It is equipped with kid-safe hand tools and materials where students build everything from rubber-powered cars to basic electronics.
- The Atelier: Our creative sanctuary for art. Here, the focus is on process over perfection, using mediums like clay, paint, and printmaking to develop fine motor skills and self-expression.
What to Expect
We run workshops year-round, ranging from single-session weekend activities to intensive summer programs. Each session is led by trained facilitators, with a focus on collaborative learning. You will often find our workshops structured around:
- Design Thinking: Tackling real-world problems through a structured process of empathy, definition, and prototyping.
- STEM Enrichment: Moving beyond theory into robotics, AI, and basic engineering concepts.
- Family Bonding: We frequently host parent-child sessions—such as woodworking or collaborative painting—because we believe learning is a shared journey that strengthens emotional connections.
Our calendar is updated monthly with fresh sessions. We welcome families to join us in Panathur to experience these spaces firsthand.
Ekya Nava
At Ekya Nava, we believe education is about more than textbooks. I created this space for kids to build, mess up, and try again, because that is where true learning happens.
