Move beyond textbooks and into the Makery. Our workshops teach students to identify problems, build tangible prototypes, and test real-world solutions in a collaborative environment.

This video captures the energy of our "1-Minute Happiness Project," a build-with-purpose jam. Guided by the design thinking framework, participants brainstormed, iterated, and prototyped tools to bring joy, showcasing how my toolkit nurtures fearless problem-solvers.

An invitation to a Prototyping Jam where curious makers design a tool they wish existed. This hands-on session is about thinking out loud and building fast, embodying the core principles of my design thinking workshops.

This is your sign to participate in Ekya Nava's Design Thinking Challenge. This video shows students deeply engaged in the process, collaborating to bring their ideas to life in a fast-paced, creative environment.

The single biggest reason your child should join my Design Thinking Challenge is that it fundamentally transforms the way they think. This video explains how the process fosters empathy, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.

An overview of the Design Thinking process at Ekya Nava. I seamlessly integrate this methodology into my curriculum to empower students to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.

The first step in my Design Thinking process: Identify. This graphic explains the importance of understanding the full context of a challenge to address the problem effectively.

The second step: Empathize. I teach students to set aside assumptions and understand the needs of others to create truly meaningful and human-centered solutions.

About Design Thinking in Action: From Idea to Prototype

When your child joins a challenge at our Makery, they aren't just listening to lectures. They are using actual materials—cardboard, sensors, circuits, and prototyping tools—to turn abstract ideas into working models. We intentionally move them from the comfort of a theory-based environment directly into the friction of building, failing, and iterating, ensuring they learn the resilience and logical problem-solving required for genuine innovation.
