About Family & Community: Learning Together
At our Panathur campus, the traditional classroom rules don't apply. Whether you are building a robot in the Makery or sketching portraits in the Atelier, we remove the pressure of perfection. The goal is simple: to get you and your child working side by side on a project where you are both learning to think, iterate, and solve problems together.
Learning shouldn't stop at the school gates, and it certainly shouldn't be a solitary activity. Our family sessions are rooted in the belief that children are more likely to adopt a growth mindset when they see their parents embracing it too.
We structure these events to be low-stress and high-impact. You might find yourself in a fireless cooking session one weekend, or a woodworking workshop the next, using actual tools under the guidance of our facilitators. There are no passive activities here; you are an active participant, not an observer.
These workshops serve a few specific purposes. First, they provide a screen-free space to talk and collaborate. Second, they introduce parents to the same design-thinking concepts we teach our students—empathizing, ideating, and prototyping. By the end of a session, you leave with more than just a craft or a model; you leave with a shared experience that gives you something new to talk about at the dinner table.
We release a fresh calendar of these weekend events every month. Because we keep batch sizes intimate, typically 15 to 25 children plus parents, we recommend checking the schedule early to ensure you get a spot in the sessions that interest you most.
