At Eka, school is more than just a building. It is a shared journey where parents, teachers, and children come together to create a space of empathy, exploration, and belonging.

Our teachers are the heart of Eka. They are nurturers, learners, and playmates who guide our children with love and care. We are so grateful to have a team of dedicated educators who make this their life's purpose.

We pay tribute to Dr. Maria Montessori, whose beautiful method of learning inspires everything we do. Her philosophy helps us understand the child and create a world of harmony and peace through education.

Our children celebrating the birthday of Dr. Maria Montessori. By lighting candles and sharing flowers, they pay tribute to the visionary who discovered this wonderful path of learning, exploration, and self-discovery.

As part of our community outreach, we visited a home for special children. It was a humbling experience for our students to connect, share, and understand the importance of empathy and gratitude.

Our children listening intently during our visit to a local home for special children. These experiences teach them about inclusivity and compassion, core values we nurture at Eka.

We asked our parents to describe Eka in three words, and their responses filled us with gratitude. Their trust and appreciation motivate us to strive for the best and continue offering a nurturing environment for their children.

Education is about being inclusive and grateful. Our visit to a special children's home was a lesson in sharing and caring. We thank our parent community for their generous contributions that made this possible.

As part of our Recycle Month, we visited a home for special children to donate clothes and stationery. It was a powerful lesson for our children in sharing, caring, and being one with everyone in the community.

About Our Eka Community

We believe the school walls are porous. When we visit homes for special children or celebrate cultural milestones like Onam and Ganesha Chaturthi, we do it together as a community. Parents often join our events, and our children learn that being part of Eka means learning to care for the world outside our gates, not just the classroom.

Building More Than a Classroom

At Eka Montessori in Seshadripuram, we have spent 11 years building an ecosystem, not just an institution. Our approach is grounded in the belief that a child's development thrives when the school and home speak the same language. We are not just teaching subjects; we are fostering a village of support.

Partnering With Parents

Parental involvement is the heartbeat of our community. You will see parents and grandparents participating in our events, contributing to our outreach drives, and sharing in the milestones of their children. This partnership ensures that the values we nurture at school—empathy, independence, and gratitude—are reinforced at home.

Experiential Learning Through Connection

Our curriculum extends beyond the books through consistent community interactions:

  • Outreach & Empathy: We visit local homes for special children to help our students understand inclusivity and social responsibility.
  • Cultural Roots: From creating Pookalam to celebrating festivals, we turn every cultural moment into a learning opportunity that connects children to their heritage.
  • Shared Joy: Our annual 'Utsav' and graduation days are celebrations of the journey we take together as a community.

We know that education is not a solo pursuit. It requires active listening, consistent support, and the courage to let children explore their world. We invite you to be a part of this story, because while the foundation is set, the journey is ongoing—picture abhi baaki hai doston.

For 11 years, I have watched this community grow from a small idea into a shared home for hundreds of children. My team and I are here because we believe children learn best when they are surrounded by a village that values empathy and independence above all else.
