A typical harvest day includes a mix of seasonal favourites. Here you can see freshly picked lauki (bottle gourd), bhindi (okra), and tori (ridge gourd) ready to be packed for our weekly baskets.
This is Okra, or Bhindi, growing strong on our client's farm. We ensure our plants are healthy and productive, yielding tender vegetables that are perfect for classic Indian dishes.
A bitter gourd, or karela, hanging from the vine. I grow these using organic methods, which I believe gives them a better taste and makes them incredibly healthy.
This is a ridge gourd, or tori, one of the many gourds I grow during the summer months. It's a versatile vegetable that's a staple in many Indian kitchens.
Sponge Gourd, also known as Chikni Tori, thrives in the warm weather on our farms. It's a soft, delicious gourd that absorbs flavours beautifully when cooked.
Ash Gourd, or Petha, is known for its cooling properties and subtle flavour. This one is growing beautifully, ready to be harvested for juices or curries.

About Our Weekly Harvest Basket
When you subscribe to our weekly basket, you are eating exactly what nature decided was ready, not what a grocery store chain dictated. This means your box might have an abundance of bhindi one week or a surprising, fresh harvest of gongura the next. It keeps your kitchen routine unpredictable, seasonal, and honest.
Our Farm-to-Table Process
We believe in simple, clean food. Our vegetables are grown without any chemicals using natural fertilizers like manure and jeevamrut. Because we prioritize nutrient retention, crops are plucked strictly 12 to 24 hours before they reach your home. You aren't just getting vegetables; you are getting a harvest that has been handled with respect for the soil and the season.
What You Get
Each 5-6 kg basket is designed for a family of four and typically includes:
- Leafy Greens: 2-3 bunches (approx 1kg) like Spinach, Amaranth, or seasonal lettuce.
- Core Vegetables: 2-3 kg of native staples such as Bottle Gourd (Lauki), Ridge Gourd (Tori), or Okra.
- Salad & Exotics: Approx 500g of Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumber, or seasonal varieties.
- Herbs: A complimentary bunch of fresh aromatics like Basil, Mint, or Lemongrass.
