About Ayurvastra: Healing Herbal Dyes
We work exclusively with natural ingredients like turmeric and sappanwood to create textiles that are skin-friendly and chemical-free. Whether you are producing sensitive-skin-friendly kids' clothing or organic home textiles, I ensure each batch is hand-processed for consistency, with a 40-meter minimum order to keep our production mindful and waste-free.
Ayurvastra is more than a color treatment; it is the science of healing fabrics. When I dye your textiles using medicinal herbs like turmeric or madder root, I am not just adding color. I am creating a skin-friendly, antimicrobial surface that is as pure as the food you eat.
My Process for Your Brand
I work exclusively with natural fabrics like Mulberry silk and cotton. Every batch undergoes a rigorous 3-step preparation: scouring to clean the fibers, pre-mordanting using alum or myrobalan, and the final herbal dyeing process. This ensures that the colors are vibrant, stable, and completely free from synthetic chemicals.
Partnering on Projects
I collaborate with eco-conscious brands for bulk orders. To maintain the integrity of my vat dyeing and eco-printing processes, I maintain a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 40 meters per design. Whether you need solid herbal colors or complex botanical printing, my timeline is typically 10 to 14 days. Some of my more intricate botanical work requires 3 to 4 weeks to allow for proper sourcing and steaming.
If you value pure, chemical-free textiles, chaliye—let’s connect and bring your vision to life.
Dyehome
I’m the soul behind Dyehome, and for me, textiles are an extension of wellness. I don't just dye fabric; I revive Ayurvastra, an ancient, lost art of treating cloth with medicinal herbs.
