Discipline, technique, and a proven track record. Here is the foundation of my training and the standards I set for my students at Delhi Tigers.

The official plaque for the 'Outstanding Instructor' award from the Taekwon-do Association of India. This honor recognizes my contribution to the development of ITF Taekwondo.

A close-up of the medal I received for being an 'Outstanding Instructor'. It is a symbol of the high standards we maintain at our academy.

This is my 3rd Dan Black Belt, a rank that represents years of training, dedication, and expertise in the art of Taekwondo. I bring this experience to every class I teach.

With Master Prof. Ri Yong Son, a respected figure in the world of ITF Taekwondo. Staying connected with the leadership of our sport is crucial for my own development as a coach.

As a coach and official at the 32nd Delhi State Championship. My active involvement ensures I am up-to-date with all competition rules and standards.

Serving as an official during a championship event. This role requires sharp focus and a deep understanding of Taekwondo rules and ethics, principles I instill in my students.

Observing a match from the judge's chair. My experience as an official gives my students an edge, as I know exactly what judges look for in a performance.

Taking notes during a competition. I constantly analyze performances to refine our training methods and give my students the best possible guidance.

About My Credentials & Coaching Philosophy

These credentials go beyond a rank on a wall. As a 3rd Dan Black Belt and an active official, I spend as much time on the competition floor judging matches as I do on the mat training my students. This means when I correct your stance or explain a pattern, I am teaching you exactly what the judges are looking for in a championship environment.

Training with a Purpose

At Delhi Tigers, my goal is to produce athletes, not just students. Holding a 3rd Dan Black Belt is not just about personal achievement; it is about ensuring that every technique, block, and strike taught in our Najafgarh dojo aligns with the current standards of the Taekwon-do Association of India (ITF).

Why My Experience Matters

I don't just train from the sidelines. My active involvement as an official and judge at state-level championships means I stay current on every rule change and scoring requirement. When we prepare for Tuls (patterns) or Matsogi (sparring), my students aren't guessing what judges want. They are practicing the exact movements and tactical discipline that win medals.

The 'Believe, Achieve & Succeed' Mindset

My teaching philosophy is simple: discipline matters more than talent. I personally oversee our training sessions, ensuring that whether you are a beginner or a competitive athlete, your stance and form are corrected instantly. We follow a strict syllabus, from white belt fundamentals to advanced competition tactics.

We are a family. When you train here, you are one of my tigers. We put in the sweat, we respect the hierarchy of the sport, and we celebrate every victory, big or small. If you are ready to work hard, I am ready to coach you to the podium.

I am Jayendra Puri, and I run the Delhi Tigers Taekwondo Academy. I do not just teach moves, I build competitors. We train for real performance, not just attendance, and my students—my tigers—know that every medal they win is a reflection of our collective discipline.
