Injury Prevention & Medical Assessment Programs
We do not just train hard; we train smart. Our injury prevention protocol starts with a thorough medical assessment, ensuring every athlete gets a plan tailored to their specific physical needs.
Our process is collaborative. Coaches and our in-house sports physios analyze test results together to create a holistic improvement plan for each individual.
This hand-eye coordination test, part of our medical assessment, helps us evaluate an athlete's reflexes and motor skills, which are vital on the field.
Our DSSA medical assessments are also conducted online. Here, our physio consults with an athlete to discuss their physical history and current condition.

About Injury Prevention & Medical Assessment
Before any drill begins, we look at your movement patterns, past injuries, and physical test results like VO2max. Our coaches and in-house sports physiotherapists review these results together to pinpoint potential injury risks, allowing us to build a training plan that is uniquely yours, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
An injury is the biggest setback for any athlete. That is why we make medical screenings the foundation of our coaching. Whether you are a young football player in Andheri or a serious track athlete, we need to know how your body moves before we push it.
Our process involves:
- Physical History & Testing: We analyze your past injuries, conduct speed tests, and check your agility to understand your current physical state.
- Biomechanical Screening: Our physiotherapists examine your posture and movement during specific drills to see where you might be prone to strain.
- Custom Programming: Every drill is adjusted based on these findings. If you need core work to prevent lower back pain, we include it. If you need speed mechanics to handle high-impact play, we focus there.
We conduct these assessments both at our grounds in St. Dominic Savio and Holy Family, and through online consultations. We believe that smart training is about understanding the science behind every movement. By investing time in injury prevention today, you ensure that you can stay on the field tomorrow, consistently building towards your goals without unnecessary interruptions.
