Unlike quick sketches, these live paintings take focus. I will spend 4 to 5 hours at your venue, usually starting before guests arrive to set the scene, and finish with a 24x30 inch acrylic piece by the time the party wraps up.
People often ask, 'Tarun, why a big painting instead of just photos?' Photos are great, but a live painting has soul. It captures the energy, the lights, and the emotions of that specific moment in a way a camera sometimes misses.
When you book a live painting, I show up early to set up my easel and start laying down the foundation, like the background and the venue vibe. Over the next 4 to 5 hours, I build the piece, focusing on the couple and the main event flow. I use professional grade acrylic paints because they dry quickly, which lets me finish the work before your event ends.
Here are a few practical things for your venue:
- Space: I need a 6x6 ft corner with a clear view of the stage or mandap.
- Lighting: If it is an evening event, a small light source helps me capture those fine details.
- The Result: You get a finished 24x30 inch canvas right when the party wraps up.
