Live Portrait Sketching Station
Service Capacity
- Time Block: Up to 4 hours of continuous live sketching service.
- Output Volume: Covers approximately 20 to 25 guests total within the timeframe.
- Pacing: Dedicates roughly 8-10 minutes per portrait to ensure semi-realistic quality.
Deliverables
- Style: Realistic black and white portraiture using Graphite and Charcoal.
- Material: High-quality, acid-free A4 cartridge paper (150+ GSM).
- Finishing: Treated with fixative spray to minimize smudging.
- Packaging: Sketches are handed over in clear protective sleeves for safe transport.
Client Requirements
- Furniture: Client must provide 2 chairs (one for artist, one for guest) and 1 small table.
- Lighting: A strong, direct light source at the station is mandatory.
Live Event Canvas Painting
Artistic Scope
- The Output: Creation of one (1) large feature painting (Approx. 24 x 30 inches or similar).
- Subject: Captures the main event focal point (Bride & Groom) and background ambiance.
- Medium: Professional grade Acrylic paints on stretched canvas (fast-drying).
Execution & Logistics
- Duration: 4 to 5 hours of live performance art.
- Timeline: Starts before guest arrival for background work and completes by the end of the event.
- Equipment: Artist brings portable easel, drop cloths, and all painting supplies.
- Handover: The painting is finished and handed over to the client immediately after the event.
Client Requirements
- Space: A designated 6x6 ft area with a clear line of sight to the stage or mandap.
- Power: Access to a power point for clip-on lights if the venue area is dim.

I’m Tarun Kumar, and if you want your party, shaadi (wedding), or office function to stand out, I bring something thoda hatke (a little different). I set up right at your venue, turning it into a mini art studio where guests watch me create on-the-spot portrait sketching that’s both fun and personal.
What Happens at Your Event
Instead of your guests getting bored after cake-cutting or speeches, they can walk up to my art station, pose for a few minutes, and get a custom guest portrait drawn live. Each sketch is quick, expressive, and done using graphite or charcoal, so I can get through a bunch of guests in a short time. The best part - everyone leaves with a personalized keepsake art instead of some random party favor that ends up in a drawer.
What I Can Do (and What’s Tricky)
I mostly draw black-and-white sketches, but if you want a splash of color or a bigger live wedding artist piece, like a couple’s painting, I’m up for it. Color takes more time, so not everyone will get one - just being real. For huge crowds, I can call in a few fellow artists so more people get their turn.

I’m based in Delhi, mostly around NCR. I’m super chill at events, and while I can be slow on personal projects, at your party the energy keeps me focused. I put a lot of myself into each drawing, and I want your guests to actually have fun and remember the experience.
