Live Event Sketching & Guest Portraits
Turn your event into a mini art studio. I’ll sketch your guests live, giving everyone a unique, handmade keepsake they’ll actually keep.
This is what it looks like when I turn a corner of your event into a live art studio. Guests can come up, pose for a bit, and watch as I create their portrait right there. It's a super chill and interactive experience that breaks the ice and gets people talking.
Seeing the smile on a guest's face when they see their finished portrait is the best part of my job. I love capturing the personalities of people from all walks of life, making sure everyone feels seen and gets a special keepsake from your event.
Besides the quick sketches, I also offer larger, more detailed paintings. This was a custom piece for a wedding, done live with a splash of color. It's a great option if you want a unique artwork that captures the main vibe of your celebration.
Each portrait is a quick, expressive sketch done with graphite. I focus on capturing a likeness and a bit of personality in just a few minutes, so more of your guests get a chance to have their portrait done. This gentleman was a great sport at a wedding in Janakpuri.
About Featured
My live art setup isn't just about the drawing—it’s about the 8 to 10 minutes I spend with each guest. I use acid-free 150 GSM paper for every portrait and treat each piece with a fixative spray immediately, so your guests can carry their sketches around your venue without worrying about smudges.
If you have seen my work at venues like Hyatt Janakpuri, you know I keep the vibe pretty casual. I am not there to stand in the corner or be a wallflower. I am there to engage. When I am sketching, I am listening to stories and trying to capture the actual personality behind the face. Whether it is a quick graphite sketch for a guest or a larger, 5-hour acrylic painting of the couple, the goal is always to create something real, not something generic.
The Logistics
To make this work, I just need a small table, two chairs, and good lighting. That is it. If your venue is on the dimmer side, we will need to set up a specific light source to ensure the details come through on paper.
My Approach
- Live Portraits: I focus on semi-realistic, expressive sketches. It takes me about 8 to 10 minutes per person, allowing me to cover 20 to 25 guests in a 4-hour block.
- Custom Paintings: For a bigger statement piece, I offer live canvas painting. This takes more time and focus, so I usually set this up near the stage or the main event focal point.
- Large Crowds: If you are expecting a massive turnout, I can call in a few fellow artist friends so we can make sure more people get a portrait without keeping anyone waiting for too long.
I am based in Delhi and travel across the NCR for events. If you want interactive entertainment that actually stands out from the usual DJ and photo booth setup, let’s talk.
