Adding a live percussionist to my DJ set changes everything. We combine electronic beats with live dhol and drums to turn your sangeet or cocktail night into a proper concert.

The "Kali Activa" fever is real. Here I am dropping the Punjabi hit and watching the crowd go wild at a private wedding affair in Delhi, complete with live percussion to amplify the bhangra vibes.

Mixing the viral hit "Tauba Tauba" with some heavy techno beats for a sangeet in Ludhiana. This is my signature style, blending popular Punjabi tracks with unexpected electronic vibes, amplified by a live drummer.

Taking my signature Bollywood to Techno transitions to a show in Jaipur. This set, featuring a live percussionist, was all about creating a unique and high-energy musical journey.

The Pink City went crazy. I was overwhelmed by the energy at this Jaipur event where I performed alongside a live percussionist, blending Bollywood hits with powerful drum beats.

It's mandatory to play Sukhbir's hits at a Punjabi wedding. Here's a moment from a reception where I teamed up with a percussionist to perform classics like "Sauda Khara Khara."

About The Full Production: DJ + Live Artists

When booking the DJ and Live Percussionist duo, remember that while I bring the console and instrument kit, the venue's sound vendor needs to provide specific inputs and microphones for the live instruments. It is a small technical step that ensures the live dhol and electric drums hit with the right clarity against the house sound system.

Adding a live element is not just about making noise; it is about shifting the vibe from a playlist to a performance. When I sync my console with a professional percussionist, we are building a bridge between a traditional Sangeet night and a club concert.

My signature setup includes live electric drums, dhol, and octapad. I curate tracks that specifically leave room for live beats to kick in. You hear a trending Punjabi or Bollywood hit, and just when the hook drops, the percussionist layers in a rhythm that makes the floor shake. It creates that energy that recorded music alone cannot replicate.

Here is how we make it seamless:

  • Syncing: We run pre-rehearsed sets where the transitions are locked in. You will not hear us guessing where the beat lands.
  • Sound Check: We need to be on-site at least 90 minutes before the first beat drops. The sound vendor at your venue is our partner—we coordinate with them to ensure the percussion inputs are balanced perfectly against the PA system.
  • Versatility: Whether it is a high-octane entrance at a wedding reception or a late-night cocktail hour in Gurgaon, the duo setup adjusts the intensity based on your crowd.

If your goal is to get people off their chairs and onto the dance floor within the first two tracks, this is the package to go for. Hum dhamal macha denge.
