Combining heavy bass, live dhol, and percussion beats to keep the party energy at its peak. This is not just a playlist, it is a full-on live performance.

The ultimate fusion of electronic beats and live dhol. Performing with the AK47 band at Heritage Village Resort, Manesar, we created a high-octane set perfect for a Punjabi wedding party.

A snapshot from my collaboration with Muzikafe The Band. This setup combines a full live band with my DJ console, offering a rich, layered sound for everything from Sufi evenings to Bollywood sangeet nights.

Sharing the stage with Bollywood playback singer Mansheel Gujral. These collaborations allow me to create exclusive, one-of-a-kind musical experiences for my clients' events.

This poster captures the essence of my live fusion nights with percussionist Vipin Sagar. The combination of DJ mixing and live percussion is a crowd favourite for cocktail parties and receptions.

Another one from my residency with percussionist Vipin Sagar. We know how to build the energy through the night, making sure every beat gets the crowd moving.

The energy is always electric when I team up with a live percussionist. This poster promotes one of our many successful nights together, delivering non-stop entertainment.

About this collection

When I sync live dhol beats with a heavy bass drop, the energy in the room shifts instantly. My team of percussionists and I coordinate in real time, so every beat hits exactly when the track peaks. It is not just a playlist, it is an interactive, live set designed to keep your guests on the dance floor until the very last song.

Bringing a live band or percussionist onto the stage changes the entire dynamic of a wedding party. While a standard DJ set keeps the music flowing, adding live elements creates a 'mela' vibe that gets everyone, including the shy cousins, moving.

The Fusion Setup

My fusion sets are collaborative. Whether it is performing with the AK47 band, Muzikafe, or my regular percussion partner Vipin Sagar, we focus on synergy. I mix the electronic tracks while they layer live percussion, vocals, or strings over the top. This approach works exceptionally well for:

  • Sangeet Nights: The mix of Bollywood hits and live dhol is a crowd favourite for building engagement during dance performances.
  • Cocktail Parties: We bring a slightly more sophisticated sound, blending live instrumentation with high-energy club tracks.
  • Reception Closers: This is where we go all out. The combination of live drums and heavy bass is designed for the final hours when the energy needs to be at its highest.

Technical Precision

This is not improvised noise. We perform sound checks to ensure the acoustics of the venue, whether it is an open-air setup at Heritage Village or a ballroom at The Umrao, support the live audio. My console is fully integrated with their instruments, meaning the percussionist hears the track queue, and I hear their beats in my monitor. The result is a seamless flow where the DJ tracks and live instruments sound like one cohesive unit.

If you want that live 'shor' (noise/energy) at your wedding, let us plan the setlist around your favorite tracks. Just reach out, and we can discuss the lineup that fits your event scale.

I do not hide behind the console. When I play with live percussionists or bands, I am right there in the mix, hyping up the crowd and feeding off that energy. It is all about making sure every guest, from the cousins to the aunties, feels the rhythm.
