My Approach to Club Sets
My signature 'BollyTechno' style is what separates my sets from the usual. I fuse high-tempo Bollywood vocals with driving techno beats, which creates a specific sound profile that works just as well in a dark basement club as it does on a large outdoor stage.
What You Get:
- Live Mixing: I use professional Pioneer gear (CDJ NXS2 or 3000 series) to ensure the transitions are seamless. No pre-recorded mixes here.
- Crowd Interaction: I do not just hide behind the console. If the crowd needs a push, I am on the mic to keep the energy levels at 100.
- Visual Coordination: For club gigs, I work with the venue's VJ to sync my custom logo loops and visual patterns with the drops.
The Logistics
I keep the setup requirements straightforward so we can focus on the music. I provide my own console and laptop, but I need the venue to provide the PA system, which should ideally include a proper line array and bass bins to handle the low-end frequencies of my techno mashups.
