About La Rumba: The Socials
Think of La Rumba as your weekly dance laboratory. You do not need a partner or polished technique to show up. It is the place where we ditch the formal class pressure, turn up the music, and actually use what you have practiced in the studio.
The magic of Latin dance is in the social aspect. You can spend hours in drills, but it is on the social floor that you truly learn to dance. At our Koramangala studio, we host these weekly sessions for the entire dance community to come together. Whether you are a regular in our Salsa classes or just starting your journey, this is where you gain confidence, meet new partners, and find your own groove.
We play a mix of Salsa, Bachata, and other rhythms, making sure the vibe stays high. You will see people from all walks of life, from absolute beginners taking their first steps to seasoned dancers refining their Mambo. There is no dress code, no pretension, and certainly no judgment. It is just about showing up, sweating, and enjoying the music.
If you have been hesitant about joining a full course, these socials are a great way to meet the Furor Fam before you commit. You can observe, dance, and get a feel for how we break down the music.
