Why I Prioritize Festivals

• Skill Evolution: Watching world-class artists like Bersy Cortez or Erik and Monika doesn't just show me how they move; it teaches me the nuance of musicality. I bring these patterns back to my Mambo footwork workshops in Thane and Mumbai.
• Social Dynamics: You learn the most when you dance with strangers. Festivals force you to adapt your lead to different follows, which is the fastest way to get comfortable on any dance floor.
• Music Theory in Action: DJing at these events means I see what tracks make people move. Whether it is Salsa On2, Bachata, or Kizomba, understanding what fills the floor helps me build better sets for our local Mumbai socials.
