About Rooftop & Sundowner Grooves
Playing a sundowner is different from a late-night club set. I read the room while the sun is still up, starting with deep, organic house grooves that let people settle in with their drinks, then gently picking up the tempo as the city lights come on. It is about pacing the energy so it peaks exactly when the vibe feels right, not rushing the transition.
When I am behind the decks at a rooftop bar, my goal is not just to play loud music. It is to create a seamless journey that mirrors the atmosphere of the evening. We start with the 'Golden Hour'—organic and afro house tracks that complement that relaxed, early-evening breeze. As the sky turns from orange to deep blue, I shift the sound toward melodic techno and sharper house beats to match the energy of the crowd as they transition from lounge mode to the main party.
I have had the chance to curate these sessions at some of Bangalore’s finest spots like The Ritz-Carlton, Mirage, and Pangeo. Each space has its own soul, and I treat the music differently for each. Whether it is an upscale cocktail hour or a high-energy rooftop bash, I rely on my Pioneer DJ setup to keep the mix tight and the transitions fluid.

- Sound Setup: My package includes my console and laptop, which connects to your venue's existing PA system via XLR or RCA. Please note that external speakers are not part of this fee.
