High-Energy Rooftop & Sundowner DJ Sets
From 21st-floor rooftops to electric cafe nights, I build the energy from sundown to late night. Whether you want deep house grooves or a full-on rave, let’s make it happen.
A bird's-eye view of my set on a 21st-floor rooftop in Nagpur at 9:30 PM. The city lights, the open air, and a packed dance floor create an unbeatable atmosphere.
The party is just getting started at 8 PM on a rooftop in Nagpur. I love building the energy from the ground up, with an Afro drop incoming to get everyone moving.
Another shot from the 21st-floor rooftop in Nagpur, this time at 8:30 PM. You can see the crowd starting to fill in, ready for a mad sundowner session.
Who says you can't have a rave in a cafe? This was at 9 PM in a Mumbai cafe, and the place was absolutely jumping. I can bring the party to any venue, big or small.
About Rooftop & Sundowner Gigs
People think rooftop sets are just chill background music, but real ones know the vibe changes fast. For these gigs, I bring my specific Afro-House and Melodic Techno library to get that groove going while the sun is out. One important thing to keep in mind: because these are open-air venues, the sound setup is everything. I perform on industry-standard Pioneer gear, so ensure your venue can provide that console setup so I can deliver the sound you’re hearing in these clips.
There’s a specific science to a good sundowner. It’s not just about playing loud music; it’s about reading the shift from daylight to the city lights. I start my sets with deep, atmospheric Afro-House and Melodic Techno. This is where I focus on the groove and the flow. As the energy levels rise and night hits, I transition into those signature Bollywood-tech mashups that get the dance floor jumping.
Whether it’s at a high-rise or a packed-out cafe, the setup needs to be precise. I’ve played enough rooftop gigs to know that the right sound system matters more here than anywhere else. If the bass is muddy because of the open space, the vibe dies.
What to expect for your venue:
- Phase 1 (The Build): Early evening, focus on soundscapes, clean deep house, and keeping it groovy.
- Phase 2 (The Peak): Late night, high-energy commercial pop, Punjabi bangers, and my signature Bolly-Tech blends.
Logistics:
I travel light—headphones and USBs only. I need the venue to provide the Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 or 3000 console and a proper PA system. This isn't just a playlist; it’s a controlled performance. If you have specific cues for entries or special moments during the sunset hour, we can sync those up. Let’s create a night that actually lasts, not just another session.
