Taala Beats: DJ with Live Percussion in Bengaluru

My Taala Beats concept is built for one thing: keeping the crowd moving. A standard DJ set creates a good vibe, but adding a live percussionist—whether it is Djembe, electric drums, or traditional Dhol—changes the energy entirely. It turns a standard party track into a live concert experience.

I offer two main setups for events in Bangalore and beyond:

• The Duo: This features me on the decks and one professional percussionist. It is ideal for private parties, Sangeets, or club nights where you want a tight, punchy sound.
• The Trio: For larger events, festivals, or weddings, I bring a Dhol player and a western drummer. This is a massive 3-piece setup that handles high-tempo Punjabi, Kuthu, and Kannada hits with ease.

Why this works

I have been a DJ since 2013, and I have learned that the crowd responds to the 'human element' of rhythm. When the Djembe kicks in during a drop, or the Dhol starts thumping during a wedding procession, the energy spike is instant. I blend my Kannada and Bollywood tracks with these live elements to ensure the dance floor stays packed.

Technical requirements

To make this work at your venue, I need a bit of support. You must provide a sturdy table or console area, and a high-power sound system with subwoofers is mandatory for the Trio package. I handle the transport for my team and gear within Bangalore, so you do not have to worry about the logistics of getting the percussion setup on stage.
