Playing at the iconic Chinnaswamy Stadium for the KCC Zee TV Kannada tournament was an incredible experience. There is nothing like the energy of a full stadium, and it was an honor to provide the soundtrack for an event with stars like Kichcha Sudeepa and Shiva Rajkumar.
This is my Taala Beats concept in action. I bring my team of live percussionists to the club, mixing DJ beats with the powerful sound of live drums and djembe. It turns a regular DJ night into a full on live performance.

About Featured
When I perform, I don't just stand behind a console. My Taala Beats setup is about bringing real, live rhythm to the mix, whether it is djembe or live dhol. It changes the energy of the dance floor immediately because people aren't just listening to a track, they are feeling the live percussion hitting right alongside the beat. If you want that, just keep in mind that I will need a bit of extra space on stage for my percussionists and a solid sound system to handle the mix.
Every gig I play, whether it is for a massive crowd of 7,000 at The Lalit Ashok for New Year's Eve or a high-energy stadium set at Chinnaswamy, is about reading the room. My signature Taala Beats concept was born from this exact need to stop people from just nodding their heads and actually get them dancing.
Why Live Percussion Matters
Standard DJ sets are great, but adding live instruments like the djembe or dhol brings a raw, earthy punch that a laptop alone cannot replicate. When I blend Kannada commercial tracks with a live drummer, the transition isn't just audio, it is a performance. This setup works perfectly for:
- Large Festivals: Holi parties or NYE bashes where the visual and auditory spectacle needs to be huge.
- Weddings and Sangeets: Adding a live dhol player elevates the Bollywood tracks and keeps the energy levels high for hours.
- Corporate Events: When you need a break from the standard background music and want something that keeps guests engaged.
