About The Art of Hand Embroidery
Every stitch is a conversation. When you bring your saree to my studio in Annapurneshwari Nagar, we look at the fabric and weave together first. I do not just provide a catalog; I suggest embroidery that makes nimma sarige suit aago tara (your saree look perfect) by matching your specific motifs, like my signature doli or elephant designs, to the border of your silk.
I believe a blouse is an emotion, not just a cloth. My studio focuses on translating your vision into wearable art through traditional techniques.
How We Work Together
I offer three distinct tiers based on the level of intricacy and time needed for your special day:
- Essential: Perfect for everyday occasions or simple gatherings. This covers border work on necklines and sleeves using zardosi or beads. Turnaround is quick, usually 5 to 7 days.
- Premium: My most popular choice for wedding functions. This involves full elbow-to-shoulder embroidery with detailed jaal patterns and zircon stone embellishments. We use advanced Maggam techniques here. Expect this to take 10 to 14 days.
- Luxury: For your Mahurtham, I create 3D figure work, storytelling motifs like wedding processions, and heavy embossed designs. I use double lining to ensure the blouse supports the weight of this intricate work. This takes 15 to 20 days.
