About Community & Township Planning
Large-scale planning requires more than just block arrangement; it demands a deep understanding of site orientation and user movement. For our Kanpur residential project, we prioritized a clear sense of arrival at the main gate, utilizing angular steel supports and balanced material textures to create a welcoming entrance that establishes the architectural theme for the entire community.
Our Approach to Master Planning
When we undertake community and township planning, our focus is on creating environments that function efficiently while maintaining a distinct visual identity. We begin with a rigorous site analysis, studying sun paths and wind directions to optimize building placement and ensure natural ventilation for all units.
Key Planning Considerations
- Circulation & Flow: We design internal road networks and pedestrian pathways that prioritize safety and accessibility, ensuring smooth connectivity between residential blocks and common amenities.
- Open Space Integration: A key part of our philosophy is ensuring that green spaces are not just decorative but functional. We integrate parks, jogging tracks, and community lawns, like the one featured in our Kanpur project, to serve as the lungs of the community.
- FAR & Density: We manage Floor Area Ratio (FAR) effectively to maximize project viability while ensuring that the built environment does not feel congested. This includes the strategic placement of lift cores, service shafts, and parking zones to keep the aesthetic clean and uncluttered.
- Infrastructure Alignment: From water tank positioning to sewage treatment plant placement and fire safety layouts, our technical planning covers all essential utilities required for high-density living.
Our process ensures that every plot, road, and garden contributes to a cohesive master plan. We believe that a well-planned township should feel like a single, unified architectural vision rather than a collection of disconnected buildings.
