8-Session Monthly Group Course
Class Logistics
- Frequency: 8 sessions per month held on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Duration: 60 minutes per session for a total of 8 hours instruction.
- Styles: Choice between specific genre batches: Salsa (On1/On2) OR Bachata (Sensual/Modern).
- Batch Size: Typically 10-20 students with enforced partner rotation.
Curriculum & Techniques
- Structure: Includes warm-ups, solo shines (footwork), and partnerwork patterns (turns and holds).
- Social Prep: Focus on leading, following, and handling real-world social dancing scenarios.
- Instruction: Classes led by senior directors or Level 2 instructors.
Facility & Policy
- Studio: Air-conditioned basement facility in CR Park/Kalkaji with professional sprung wooden floors.
- Requirements: No partner needed; rotation system ensures everyone dances with everyone.
Intensive Specialty Bootcamp
Course Configuration
- Format: Fixed syllabus module (Bootcamp or Level 1 Course) rather than drop-in.
- Duration: 12 to 18 hours of total training spread over 4 to 6 weeks.
- Session Length: Extended sessions, typically 90 minutes each.
- Styles: Specialized genres including Kizomba (Urban/Fusion) or Ladies Styling (Heels/Body Movement).
Advanced Instruction
- Focus: Deep dive into musicality, history, and advanced body mechanics.
- Choreography: Learning set routines culminating in a studio showcase or professional video shoot.
- Tools: Includes occasional video analysis for self-correction.

Single Drop-In Trial Class
Access Details
- Entry: Valid for one standard Beginner or Improver level class (Salsa or Bachata).

For me, Latin dance isn’t just steps. It’s the energy, the music, and a bit of madness that pulls you in. Salsa es vida! (Salsa is life!) Here, you’re not just another student. You’re part of a wild, supportive crew that lives for the rhythm.
What We Groove To
I started with Salsa, but let’s be real—there’s so much more. I teach:
- Salsa (On1 & On2) - the heart and soul of our studio
- Bachata - for those smooth, romantic vibes
- Kizomba - if you want to try something deep and connected
Sometimes we do Cuban Salsa (Casino Rueda) in circles, and even throw in a bit of Pachanga for that funky footwork.
What to Expect in Class
No partner? Akele aa jao, yaar! (Just come alone, buddy!) Most of us started solo. We keep switching partners, so you’ll always meet new folks. Every class has:
- Warm-up and solo shines to get you loose
- Partnerwork for those lead-follow moves and combos

It’s not just about the classes. We hang out at social Latin dancing events all over Delhi, and if you’re up for it, you can join our performance team or travel with us to dance festivals.

My Story
We’re the Delhi Salsa Club, but most just call us DSC. For us, salsa is not some side gig - it’s our heartbeat, pura zindagi (whole life). Our crew’s got stories, like watching salsa by the Seine and thinking, ‘Why can’t Delhi have this madness?’ So here we are, building our tribe, chasing good salsa shoes for years, opening our CR Park studio, and making a home where rhythm is family. It’s the small things, yaar, that matter.
