About Our Socials: The DSC Dance Family
Our 'Street of Salsa' parties are where the classroom moves actually come to life. You do not need a partner—just show up and dance. We keep the vibe casual, mixing in Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba, so you can practice your steps in a real setting without any of the classroom pressure.
We started DSC because we wanted that raw energy right here in Delhi. Our socials are not just dance parties; they are the testing ground for everything you learn in our classes. You spend the week drilling footwork and partner turns at our CR Park studio, but the social floor is where you finally learn how to truly connect with a partner.
At our 'Street of Salsa' nights, you will see everyone from absolute beginners to seasoned dancers sharing the floor. This is a space where we leave ego at the door. If you are nervous about dancing socially, remember that we use a rotation system that keeps the floor moving. You will get to dance with different people, which is the fastest way to get comfortable with leading or following.
We play a mix of Salsa (On1 and On2), Bachata, and Kizomba. If you are new to the scene, just walk up to anyone—seriously, we are a family—and ask them for a dance. The music, the laughter, and the post-dance hangouts are what make this a community. We believe that dance is a language, and the social floor is where you finally get to speak it fluently. Whether you are coming to practice your shines or just to soak in the energy, you are welcome here.
