Behind every performance is years of sadhana. Here are glimpses of the stages I have been blessed to share with the masters of our music.

It was an honor to meet the legendary Padmashree Shankar Mahadevan ji. His energy and musical genius are an inspiration to musicians across all genres.

A dream come true moment, standing with the legendary Padmavibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Sahab after getting the opportunity to accompany him. His wisdom and blessings are something I will treasure forever.

Sharing the stage with maestros Deepak Pandit ji and Sridar Parthasarathy ji in Chandigarh. Performing with such senior and respected artists is always a profound learning experience.

A memorable evening at the Darbar Festival in London, where I had the blessing of meeting and listening to the tabla solo of the legend Ustad Tari Khan Sahab.

About Honoured Moments with Musical Legends

Sharing the stage with legends like Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Sahab or Deepak Pandit ji is not just about the concert evening. It is an intensive, real-time masterclass in listening and responding to another artist. When I sit for my own lessons or student workshops, I carry that same intensity, teaching you how to listen to the rhythm as much as how to play it.

These moments on stage are the milestones of my musical journey, but they are also the laboratory where I refine my craft. Performing at venues like the Darbar Festival or in Chandigarh with respected maestros teaches me things no textbook ever could. You learn how to adjust your volume, how to anticipate a Kathak dancer's movement, and how to maintain the spirit of the Farukhabad Gharana even under the bright lights of a concert hall.

I believe my teaching is better because of these experiences. When a student asks about Teentaal, I don't just explain the beat. I explain how a legend breathes into that beat. Whether I am accompanying a vocalist or performing a solo, my focus is always on the connection between the musician and the audience. This is the same focus I bring to my private 1-on-1 sessions and online courses. My goal is to ensure that when you learn with me, you are not just memorizing kaidas. You are learning to participate in a living tradition that I have been lucky enough to witness firsthand. If you are looking for a tabla performer for a concert, a house baithak (gathering), or a fusion project, I am here to discuss how we can bring that same energy to your event.

I am a Tabla player following the Farukhabad Gharana tradition, fortunate enough to have learned under the legendary Pandit Subhankar Banerjee ji. For me, music is a spiritual practice, and whether I am on stage or in a classroom, I try to play with the same devotion that my Guruji taught me.
