About Vaultz's Up: Sculptural & Serene Spaces
Most people assume complex, vaulted architecture takes months of site work, but we finished this 1,900 sq. ft. experience centre in just 71 days. By pre-fabricating GRC molds off-site and focusing on precise assembly, we achieved that iconic, airy 'Santorini' look without the usual construction chaos. It proves you do not need a year to get a grand, sculptural space; you just need smarter planning.
When we started the Vaultz's Up project, our goal was to challenge how fast we could execute high-end architectural interiors without sacrificing form. The challenge was the shape itself. To get those sweeping, cavernous curves, we used Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC).
Instead of casting on-site, we poured the molds in a workshop. This allowed us to maintain rigid quality control and move the project along while the floor and basic infrastructure were being prepped. Once the molds were ready, it was effectively like assembling a giant puzzle.
Beyond the structure, we chose lime plaster for the interiors. We wanted a finish that felt soft to the touch and offered depth in natural light. It lacks the synthetic sheen of standard paints and instead gives the walls a living, breathing texture that changes as the sun moves across the sky.
We zoned the 1,900 sq. ft. area to balance the need for privacy with an open, airy feel. By using arches as separators rather than solid walls, we maintained sightlines across the space while keeping distinct 'lounge' areas hidden enough for serious client conversations. It is a prime example of how we combine parametric logic with physical comfort to create commercial spaces that do not feel corporate.
