My 25kg Weight Loss Transformation: Real, Sustainable Results
I didn't lose weight by starving myself. This is my 5-year journey from 90kg to 65kg, built on consistency and ghar ka khana, not crash diets.
This is what five years of consistency looks like. The picture on the left is a reminder of where I started. The journey wasn't easy, but it proves that with dedication, you can completely transform your health and your life.
From wishing I could be slim to living a strong, healthy life. I broke a family history of obesity by choosing to show up for myself, even on the hard days. Your past doesn't define your future.
Someone sent me this old picture, and it was a powerful reminder of how far I've come. The journey from that girl to who I am today was built on consistency, one workout and one healthy choice at a time.
This is me, a work in progress, always. Fitness is not a destination; it's a lifelong journey of showing up for yourself. I've learned to embrace the process, imperfections and all.
My body composition has changed completely over the last year. I weigh more, but I have more lean muscle and less body fat. This is the power of focusing on getting stronger, not just smaller.
From size XXL to S. This wasn't just about changing my dress size; it was about changing my entire lifestyle, from eating hostel mess food to mindfully preparing my own meals.
This is my 25 kg weight loss journey. I was bullied and felt unhealthy, but I decided to take control. It took years of hard work and discipline, but every step was worth it.
It took years of hard work, consistency, and discipline to get here. There are no shortcuts to real, lasting results.
This is what reversing your age looks like. On the left, I was just starting my journey. Today, I feel stronger and more energetic than ever.
From being the "fat person" to becoming a fit person. This transformation was about more than just my body; it was about changing my identity and believing in my own potential.
About My Transformation: From 90kg to 65kg
Real talk: I didn't get here by cutting out my favourite foods. My journey from 90kg to 65kg wasn't about banning roti or dal—it was about portion control and building consistent strength training into my life. If you are tired of extreme diets and constant restarts, let's talk about how to build a routine that fits your actual life, whether you're a busy mom or a professional juggling a dozen things at once.
How I Did It (And Why It Lasted)
Five years ago, I was 90kg. Obesity ran in my family, and I was stuck in a cycle of frustration and 'trying' to lose weight. The turning point wasn't a magic pill or a 15-day challenge; it was the decision to show up, even on days I wanted to quit.
The Pillars of My Journey:
- Strength Over 'Skinny': I stopped chasing the scale and started chasing strength. Lifting heavy, whether at the gym or with dumbbells at home, changed my body composition. I actually weigh more now than at my lowest point, but I'm leaner and stronger.
- Ghar Ka Khana: I never stopped eating Indian staples. Roti, sabzi, and dal are perfectly fine if you know how to balance your macros. I teach my clients how to eat what the family eats, just portion-controlled.
- Consistency > Perfection: I still have days where energy is low or cravings hit. The difference now is that I don't let one bad meal turn into a bad week. I just get back to it the next day.
Why This Works for Busy Women
I know the juggle. As a wife, mom, and daughter-in-law, I don't have hours to spend in the gym. My coaching focuses on efficient, progressive workouts that you can do at home. We work on your mindset so fitness becomes a privilege—something you get to do for yourself—rather than a punishment for eating.
Whether you are dealing with postpartum recovery, PCOS, or just general fatigue, we will find a roadmap that works for you. No shortcuts, just a sustainable lifestyle change.
