At our LARRC sanctuary, over 120 rescued animals live in peace. Meet Bheema, our gentle giant and official mascot, and see what a real second chance looks like.

This is Bheema, the grand old-man of our sanctuary. Rescued as a 3-day-old calf, he was hand-raised by our staff and has grown up with us.

Bheema is our official mascot. He has seen our organization grow and has been a steady, calming presence at the center for years.

Once a cheeky boy who loved to sneak up on people, Bheema is now settling into his wise old years. He's all about head scratches and long afternoon naps now.

Bheema's favorite meals include corn cobs, fresh greens, and a special bran mix. Keeping our residents well-fed and happy is a top priority.

Bheema has a special sense for when other animals need a friend. He is often found comforting a new rescue or keeping a sick resident company. He is a true friend in need.

We are CUPA. For over 34 years, we have been the voice for the voiceless on the streets of Bangalore. We run our Large Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Center so that every cow, horse, and donkey gets the care and respect they were denied for so long.

Hashi was abandoned but not forgotten. Found wearing her collar but rejected by the streets, she found safety with us in 2022. Today, she is loved and cared for, always.
