About Mini Tennis: Fun for Our Little Champs (Ages 4-8)
We use Stage 3 low-compression balls and mini nets so kids can actually control their shots instead of just swinging at air. This makes the game fun immediately, which builds confidence much faster than using standard, heavy equipment.
Why Start with Mini Tennis?
Tennis is a coordination-heavy sport. For a 4-year-old, a standard court is huge and a normal ball is too bouncy. Our Mini Tennis program at CS Tennis Academy bridges this gap. By using modified courts at our Powai and Vicinia Tower facilities, we make the game fit the child, not the other way around.
Our Approach for Ages 4-8
Our Red Batch sessions focus on ABCs: Agility, Balance, and Coordination. Instead of just teaching groundstrokes, we use fun games to develop hand-eye coordination.
- Equipment: We use low-compression balls (75% slower) and shortened courts.
- Focus: Building a love for the sport through games, not just repetitive drills.
- Safety: We maintain a low coach-to-student ratio (6:1 to 8:1) to ensure every child gets the attention they need.
