About Meet the Coaching Team
We don't just teach tennis; we play it every single day. By competing in internal leagues and open tournaments, my team keeps our competitive edge sharp. This means the advice we give you on the court isn't from a textbook. It's from the real, fast-paced matches we played just last week.
The coaching philosophy at CS Tennis Academy starts with me, Chand, and is carried forward by every member of my team. Whether you are training in our indoor facility at Off The Mark in Powai or on the outdoor courts at Vicinia Tower, you aren't just getting a coach—you are getting a training partner.
Why Our Approach Works
Many academies rely on coaches who have stopped playing competitively years ago. Not here. My coaches are active, certified professionals. We hold our own Inter-Coaches Tournament specifically to ensure our reflexes, footwork, and strategy remain at a high level. When we correct your grip or show you how to execute a slice, it is because we just used that same technique under pressure in our own matches.
Our Team Culture
We are a tight-knit unit. From our Yellow Batch sessions to the junior development programs, you will see us working together, laughing, and pushing each other. That camaraderie flows directly into our sessions. It helps build a community where kids and adults feel supported, not intimidated. We believe in the 'win or learn' mindset, and we model that by staying active in the game ourselves. I'm Chand. I started CS Tennis Academy because tennis taught me how to handle life's highs and lows, and I wanted to pass that grit on. My team and I are here to make sure every swing you take makes you a better player than you were yesterday.
