Garment Upcycling & Natural Dyeing Services
Don't toss your old favorites. We use plant dyes and creative techniques like Shibori to revive stained or faded natural fibers, giving your clothes a fresh start.
This shirt came to us with several black stains. Instead of discarding it, we saw an opportunity for transformation. This is the first step in our Resurrect service, where we assess a garment to plan its new design.
A glimpse into our re-dyeing service in action. We take old garments, from t-shirts to trousers, and give them a complete makeover with vibrant, lasting natural colors, making them better than new.
This pair of palazzos arrived with a few spots, and our client gave us a free hand to work our magic. Using creative tie-dye techniques, we gave these pants a beautiful new pattern and a second life.
From an old, worn-out khadi top to a stunning new piece. We used a tie-dye technique to create this vibrant spiral pattern, completely masking any previous imperfections and resurrecting the garment.
We revived these donated garments as part of our Environment Day campaign. Using block printing and overdyeing, our intern transformed these old clothes into pieces that are ready to be worn and loved again.
The results of our Environment Day makeover drive. We took donated clothes and gave them a free upcycled, natural-dye treatment. This is circular fashion in practice, creating value from what we already have.
The "before" shot of a garment resurrection. This simple shirt is the perfect canvas for our eco-printing or dyeing techniques, ready to be transformed into something special.
About this collection
Most people think a permanent stain is the end of a shirt's life, but we see it as the beginning of a design. Because we work with plant-based dyes like madder and indigo, we treat existing marks, whether they are from coffee, oil, or regular wear, as part of the pattern, layering new colors and eco-prints to transform your garment into something entirely new.
Giving Old Clothes a New Story
We don't believe in waste, especially when it comes to natural fibers. Our #BiomeResurrect service is built on a simple idea: if you already own it, you should be able to wear it longer.
How We Work
When your garment arrives, we don't just dunk it in a dye bath. We look at the fabric history. Because it is already worn, the fibers have typically lost their industrial additives, which actually makes them soak up our natural pigments better.
- Assessment: We inspect the stains and wear patterns. If there are oily spots, we plan our tie-dye (Shibori) or eco-print placement to camouflage them, turning the 'flaw' into a feature.
- Preparation: Every garment undergoes a scouring wash to ensure the base is clean and ready for deep color absorption.
- Transformation: Using extracts like pomegranate peel, iron, and indigo, we give your piece a new identity.
Important Details
- Natural Fibers Only: We only accept 100% natural fabrics like cotton, khadi, linen, and silk. Synthetic blends do not take natural dye, and we cannot work with them.
- Timeline: Natural dyeing is a slow process involving fermentation and oxidation. Please plan for a 7 to 14 day turnaround time.
- Logistics: As we are a small studio in Mysuru, shipping costs to and from our facility are handled by you.
This isn't about making a garment look factory-new again. It is about honoring the clothes you already own and giving them a second life in your wardrobe.
