A beautiful balcony setup combining pebble flooring with a variety of potted plants. We used a mix of planters and a wooden accent wall to create a cozy, stylish corner perfect for enjoying a morning coffee.
A quick garden setup we did for a client's balcony. We used artificial turf for a maintenance free lawn effect, added comfortable wooden seating, and arranged a variety of plants in colorful pots to create an instant oasis.
This balcony garden uses a combination of floor planters and railing boxes to create multiple layers of green. The design provides a beautiful city view framed by flowers and foliage, making it a perfect urban retreat.
We grew a beautiful Temple Tree (Plumeria) in a large container on this terrace. This tree is perfect for sunny spots and produces fragrant blossoms, adding a tropical feel to this rooftop garden surrounded by ferns.
Even a simple row of potted flowers can make a huge difference on a balcony. Here, we used artificial grass and a selection of colorful flowering plants in classic white pots to brighten up the space.
Color makes all the difference. This balcony features vibrant blue pots and a playful wall art piece integrated with plants. We used a white picket fence to define the space and add a touch of charm.
A modern terrace design featuring a large, built-in concrete planter. We planted a small tree surrounded by dense ferns, creating a bold green statement piece that contrasts beautifully with the architectural elements.
A simple yet elegant balcony setup for the festive season. We combined a poinsettia plant for a splash of red with other foliage plants to create a warm and inviting atmosphere with a city backdrop.
A cozy corner of a balcony featuring potted plants on a pebble and tile floor. This design shows how mixing textures like smooth pebbles, wood-look tiles, and different plant leaves can create a rich, tactile experience.
This balcony garden feels like a miniature jungle with its dense arrangement of plants. We used large pots for small trees and hanging baskets to utilize vertical space, creating a private, green escape.
About Balcony & Terrace Gardens
Before we plant a single seed, I assess the light, wind, and soil specific to your balcony or terrace. You will receive a 2D plan of the proposed layout, so you know exactly how your new green space will look before work begins.
Gardening in a city often feels like a puzzle. You have limited space, restricted sunlight, and walls that need covering. My approach to balcony and terrace gardens is purely functional; I want to create a space you actually use, not just one you look at.
We start by understanding your goals. Do you want a private reading nook shielded from your neighbors, or a vibrant patch of green to frame your city view? For balconies, we typically use premium Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) planters, which are durable and lightweight. If you have no ground space, we install vertical gardens using a modular pot system with integrated drip irrigation to ensure your plants thrive without making a mess.
For those who want a lawn without the constant maintenance of real grass, we install high-density artificial turf with 35mm-45mm pile height, perfectly leveled for a clean finish. We replace standard nursery soil with a custom mix of vermicompost and cocopeat to ensure your plants get the right nutrients while keeping the load on your structure light. We handle the hardscaping too, whether it is creating a pebble border, setting up stepping stones, or installing ambient lighting to make your terrace usable at night. When we finish, we handle the cleanup, leaving you with nothing to do but enjoy your new home oasis.
