We don't just lay down grass. We start with essential ground preparation—removing construction debris, treating the soil for termites, and laying a 3-5 inch layer of fertile red soil mixed with manure. This ensures your lawn stays thick, green, and healthy rather than thinning out after a few months.
When we approach a landscape project, we look at the 'bones' of your garden before we plant a single shrub. Whether you are working with a villa plot in a gated community like Sobha Carnation or a large open terrace, the foundation is everything.
Our Landscape Process
- Ground Preparation: We clear debris and address soil health first. In Bengaluru's climate, a 3-5 inch layer of nutrient-rich red soil and vermicompost is the difference between a garden that struggles and one that thrives.
- Hardscaping: Before the greens, we define the space. We install Sadarahalli stone pathways and create clean, edged borders that separate your lawn from paved areas, making maintenance much easier.
- 3-Tier Planting: To get that lush, full look, we use a 3-tier layering scheme. We place specimen trees like Plumeria for height, flowering shrubs like Ixora for mid-level colour, and hearty ground cover to blanket the earth.
- Irrigation & Drainage: A beautiful lawn is a well-drained lawn. We assess the slope of your land during the design phase to prevent waterlogging and install manual or drip irrigation systems tailored to the plant types we've selected.
Lawn Choices: Real vs. Artificial
Many clients ask me if they should choose real Mexican carpet grass or artificial turf. If you want that sensory experience—the smell of fresh earth, the soft texture underfoot—I always recommend real grass. It requires consistent pruning and watering, but it breathes life into your home. If you want a zero-maintenance look that stays perfectly green year-round, our high-density artificial turf is a practical, durable alternative.
