Garden Makeovers & Landscape Transformation
Every garden begins as a patch of earth. We handle the heavy lifting, from soil preparation and hardscaping to the final planting, ensuring your vision becomes a thriving reality.
A before and after glimpse of a front entrance makeover. We transformed a simple patch of dirt into a beautiful entryway with new plants, gravel, and a defined border, creating a much more welcoming first impression.
Work in progress at a Total Environment project in Whitefield. This video shows my team preparing the soil and laying out stepping stones, the foundational steps for creating a beautiful new garden.
Teamwork is the fuel that allows us to achieve uncommon results. Here is my team working together on a garden makeover, clearing the ground and preparing for a new layout.
Our team setting up the hardscape for a new garden. We are spreading sand and leveling the ground before laying turf or pebbles. This preparation is crucial for a long lasting and professional finish.
The making of a garden path, one step at a time. We are laying stone pavers and filling the gaps with gravel to create a durable and attractive walkway through this side yard.
Clearing and preparing a narrow strip of land for a new garden. This is the first step in any makeover, where we remove old growth and prepare the soil for new plantings.
Preparing a large, built-in balcony planter for planting. We line the planter and fill it with a nutrient rich soil mix to ensure the new plants have the best possible start.
Building a low brick wall to create a raised garden bed in Indiranagar. This technique helps with drainage and adds a decorative, structural element to the garden design.
The first steps in creating hardscape elements. This video shows a freshly painted concrete bench base, which will become a permanent seating feature in a new villa garden in Gubbi.
A close up of the freshly painted concrete bench we are building. Attention to detail in the hardscaping phase ensures that structural elements are both beautiful and built to last.
About Garden Makeovers & The Process
Most people focus on the plants, but the secret to a long-lasting garden is in the foundation. Before a single leaf is planted, my team focuses on drainage, leveling, and soil quality to ensure your space thrives long after we have packed our tools.
A garden makeover is more than just buying pots. At Cinnamon-Design, our process starts with the 'bones' of your space. Whether you are dealing with a barren villa plot in Gubbi or a cluttered balcony in Whitefield, we follow a consistent, three-step approach.
1. Planning & Groundwork
We start with a site visit to understand the light, wind, and soil. We believe in transparency, so you get a 2D plan before we start. This phase includes clearing debris, anti-termite treatments, and ensuring the drainage slope is correct so your plants don't drown in the monsoon.
2. The Hardscape
This is where the structure comes in. We install pathway pavers like Sadarahalli stone, build raised planter beds, or create custom seating and fencing. By layering these elements first, we create the skeleton that gives your garden shape and functionality.
3. The Living Layer
Finally, we add the life. We replace nursery soil with a rich mix of cocopeat, red soil, and vermicompost. We source established plants, not just cuttings, to ensure the garden looks complete from day one. Whether it is Mexican grass for a lawn or a vertical module for a wall, everything is placed with intent.
We are a team—Amresh, Harish, Anil, and I. We take our 'A to Z' promise seriously. You won't just see the transformation; you will see a space built to last.
