About Indian Instrument Repair, Restoration & Customization
Generations of Craft in Every Repair
Music runs in my veins. I’m Naeem Sitarmaker, and my family’s been building and fixing instruments in Miraj since 1850. For me, each sitar, tanpura, or surbahar isn’t just wood and wire - it’s a living voice. Whether it’s a prized family heirloom or something brand new, I treat every piece with respect and care.
Jawari & The Tone That Matters
Getting the jawari (bridge adjustment) right is what sets apart a good instrument from a concert-ready one. I’ve spent years perfecting jawari adjustment for sitar, tanpura, and surbahar. Many top artists come to me for that “ultimate tone” - smooth, rich, and full of life.

If your instrument needs a simple repair or a complete rebirth, I’ve got you. I handle:
- Fret setting, stringing, tuning peg fixes (fret ki setting, taar badalna)

- Full restoration for old or damaged pieces, including detailed polish and design work

My Story
Jab koi artist mere banaye hue sitar ya tanpura bajata hai, aur uski awaaz pasand karta hai, dil se sukoon milta hai. Chhota ho ya bada, har client mere liye parivar hai.
