Our Adyasha backpack, reimagined in the bold Jazz Safari print. This exotic snakeskin-effect leather is created through a multi-step process of embossing and foiling on real leather, making each piece a unique statement.
A close-up of the Jazz Safari leather, showing the texture and color variation. One of our artisans, Shehzad, proudly presents the finished Adyasha backpack he crafted from start to finish.

About The Art of Craft: Our Special Edits
Every bag you see here is 'Single Artisan Made', meaning one person stitches your piece from start to finish. Because we rely on leftover lots like our 'Disco Safari' or 'Oak' leather, many of these edits are strictly limited. If you like the look of our hand-embroidered 'Lace Edit' or the triple-tone weave of 'Madurai', know that we can tweak the strap length or add pockets to make the design fit your routine.
We look at leather as a canvas for Indian craft. Our 'Lace Edit' is a fusion technique: we use traditional Kashmiri chain-stitch embroidery on leather, inspired by Sanganeri motifs from Rajasthan. It is a slow process that requires a delicate touch, so we reserve this for our softer hides like Crystal or Oak.
Then there is our 'Madurai' and 'Woven' series. These are not factory-pressed patterns. We hand-interlace strips of leather—honey almond, oak, and bronze—to create texture that ages beautifully.
Since we are a small studio in Delhi, we do not have stock sitting on shelves. When you order, we cut and craft. This gives us the flexibility to customize. If you want a longer sling on a Jordan bag, or initials on an Aishwarya tote, just ask. Our leather is upcycled, so when a lot is gone, it is gone. It is a trade-off: you get a unique bag, but you have to catch the edit while the leather is in our workshop.
Chiaroscuro
I'm Smriti, and our studio in Ghitorni is where we get our hands dirty with leather. It is not a shiny showroom, just a few of us—Danish, Rehman, and the team—stitching stories into every bag, one artisan at a time.
