About Curated Small Plates & Appetizers
When we plan your appetizer spread, we look at flow as much as flavor. We use slate boards, tiered wooden stands, and fresh banana leaves to turn every pass-around into a visual detail that encourages guests to pick up a plate and start a conversation.
We approach appetizer design as a balance of texture and technique. For corporate mixers where guests are standing, we prioritize items that are easy to handle, such as our bamboo-steamer momos or neatly plated sushi rolls, ensuring guests can hold a conversation without worrying about a mess.
Our fusion philosophy stems from our three-generation history in Mumbai. We take familiar Indian elements, like Kuti Mirch Paneer Tikka, and wrap them in global formats like soft tacos. This brings a sense of familiarity to new presentations. For lighter events, we focus on freshness, utilizing ingredients like avocado, asparagus, and sprouts, presented on cooling banana leaves or slate to keep the temperature and aesthetic pristine.
We also consider the service style. Whether it is pass-around service by our uniformed staff or static displays on tiered wooden stands, the presentation is designed to complement the venue and the event mood. For formal evenings, we lean towards polished porcelain and glass. For casual networking sessions, the vibe shifts to wooden elements and hand-crafted touches. Every ingredient is strictly vegetarian, as we have focused entirely on meat-free catering since 1982. This allows us to dedicate our full attention to complex flavors and perfect preparation in every single bite.
