- Format: Choice of attending physically at the Whitefield Academy or Online via video conferencing.

- Progression: Structured modules moving from Piece Movements (Basic) to Tactics and Opening Repertoire (Advanced).
- App Access: Full access to the Check N Mate mobile app for session notes, digital assignments, and monthly tests.
- Tournament Practice: Free entry links to internal online practice tournaments held every weekend.

- Infrastructure: AC classrooms with tournament-grade plastic chess sets and vinyl boards.
- Tech: DGT digital chess clocks and projector-based learning for puzzle solving.

1-on-1 Mentorship: Doorstep or Online
Personalized Logistics
- Ratio: 1:1 Dedicated Coaching where the entire hour is focused solely on one student.

Advanced Strategy
- Game Analysis: Deep-dive analysis of the student's recent tournament games to identify and fix recurring mistakes.
- Repertoire Building: Creation of specific 'White' and 'Black' opening repertoires suited to the student's playing style (Aggressive vs. Positional).
- Expertise: Instruction by senior or rated coaches (typically 1600+ FIDE strength).

What We're About
Chess isn’t just a board game for us - it’s a way to make your mind sharper and your thinking smarter. Since 2019, I’ve seen everything from tiny beginners to adults picking up the game after years, and I still get a kick out of that spark kids have when they pull off a great move. We want everyone to get that joy, whether you’re dreaming of a trophy or just want to beat your cousin next time.

My Story
We kicked off Check N Mate in 2019, just wanting to spread our crazy chess love. The best part? Watching kids light up when they crack a new tactic. From those first shy moves in Whitefield to big wins—even our student Laasya bagged a trophy in California! Parents join in, too, starting their own FIDE journeys. Building this chess gang, seeing folks grow, running tournaments all over Bengaluru and beyond—man, it’s been wild. And trust me, we’re just warming up.
