What We Do
Organizing a chess tournament can be a real headache if you don’t know where to start. I take care of the entire process - from planning formats and sorting out the rules, to managing registrations and making sure the event runs without a hitch. Whether you want a serious FIDE rated tournament or a friendly youth chess competition, I’ve handled all kinds.
Types of Tournaments We Handle
- All India Open FIDE Rated events (Rapid & Blitz)
- Age-group competitions (Under-7, U-9, U-15, Open)
- Inter-school battles that really get the kids going
- Corporate and apartment tournaments - I’ll bring the chess vibe to your office or society
How We Pull It Off
- Most events use the Swiss format so everyone gets a fair shot
- Can host at our academy in Whitefield or pretty much anywhere in Bangalore - schools, malls, clubhouses, you name it
- Smooth, fully managed sign-ups with proper crowd control
- For big events, matches can even go live on YouTube so nobody misses the action

My Story
We kicked off Check N Mate in 2019, just wanting to spread our crazy chess love. The best part? Watching kids light up when they crack a new tactic. From those first shy moves in Whitefield to big wins—even our student Laasya bagged a trophy in California! Parents join in, too, starting their own FIDE journeys. Building this chess gang, seeing folks grow, running tournaments all over Bengaluru and beyond—man, it’s been wild. And trust me, we’re just warming up.
