We invite students to step inside our Yelahanka shelter to learn about empathy, animal care, and the responsibility of coexistence. It is a lesson in kindness.

A student from Euro School North shares a gentle moment with one of our resident dogs. School visits are a wonderful way for children to learn about animal welfare and the importance of kindness in action.

A group of students surrounds a calm and happy dog during their field trip to our shelter. These interactions teach children how to approach and care for animals with respect and compassion.

Two students from EuroSchool carefully pet one of our senior dogs. Our school programs provide a safe and supervised environment for children to connect with animals of all ages and temperaments.

It's field trip season! We were delighted to host 160 children from Presidency School for a shelter visit. We offer curated programs for different grades to educate students on animal welfare.

A beautiful video capturing the visit from Aakanksha Trust. The students learned about the biology of our furry friends and the power of empathy, sharing pure, unfiltered love with our resident dogs.

We are so grateful to the 70 NCC Cadets from CMR University who rolled up their sleeves for a massive clean-up drive at our shelter. Their hard work and community spirit left our facility sparkling clean.

Art has the power to inspire change. As part of our Deepavali awareness campaign with Mission Rabies, students participated in an art activity, pledging to be a light for community animals through their creative messages.

We were excited to be part of the Coexistence Awareness Campaign in Gokarna, organized with Shankar Prasad Foundation and Mission Rabies. Here, students gather to learn about living compassionately alongside animals.

About Building a Kinder Generation: Youth & School Programs

A visit to our Yelahanka shelter is designed to be a practical, hands-on experience rather than a classroom lecture. Over 3-4 hours, students rotate through stations covering animal biology using shelter props, dog bite prevention safety drills, and supervised empathy sessions with our ambassador animals. We shift the focus from simply looking at animals to understanding the biology, needs, and the importance of compassionate coexistence.
