Our shelter is open to anyone who wants to share kindness with our rescued animals. Whether you have an hour or a whole day, your presence helps our residents feel loved and safe.

A volunteer shares a quiet moment with two resident dogs, a perfect example of the purest kind of friendship. The time our volunteers spend with the animals is priceless.

A volunteer in a yellow CARE t-shirt gives a gentle pat to a happy resident. These simple acts of kindness make a world of difference to an animal waiting for a home.

A volunteer finds herself in a puppy puddle! Cuddling with our youngest residents is one of the most rewarding parts of volunteering at CARE.

A trusting dog relaxes completely in the lap of a volunteer. This level of comfort is a testament to the safe and loving environment our volunteers help create.

Sunday showers for Peanut! Our senior volunteer Nuthan gives this special two-legged resident a bath, showing the dedicated, one-on-one care our animals receive.

Our official Reception Committee is always waiting eagerly for visitors! Come drop by the shelter between 11 am and 4 pm for some extra cuddles and belly rubs.

Will you be my Valentine? Our adorable resident Snowy invites you to spend the weekend with our shelter animals and fill your day with unconditional love.

Fierce on the field, but kind and compassionate off of it. Virat Kohli shares a cuddle with one of our rescued kittens during his visit to CARE.

We had the lovely actress Varsha Bollamma visit us this weekend, seen here holding some of our adorable puppies. She is a true animal lover who once rescued an injured pup and gave her a forever home.

Varsha Bollamma spends time with our permanent residents at the reception. We are so glad she took the time to visit and share her love with our animals.

About Our Wonderful Volunteers & Visitors

Visiting is not just about petting. It is vital for our animals' socialization. When you come to the shelter between 11 am and 4 pm, you are helping a shy dog trust humans again or giving an elderly cat company. Please wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dirty, because shelter life can get messy.
