About Event & Festival Rangoli Art
Why I Do This
Rangoli is my way of bringing stories to life. When I work, I want people to stop, look, and feel something strong. Every event or festival gets its own mood, its own splash of colour.
Big, Bold Rangoli
I specialise in large rangoli installations for events. Whether it's a 30x30 ft burst of colour for a mall Ugadi or a temple chariot festival, I love bold work that people remember. If you want a showstopper, this is it.
Every Occasion, Every Vibe
- Diwali, Dussehra, Ganesh Chaturthi - I do both classic and modern designs, always tailored to your festival.
- Corporate events and mall promos - I can mix your brand theme into the design. Done IPL logos for malls too.
- Temple jatras and public spaces - love working with religious and cultural themes.
My Inspirations
Sometimes it’s gods, sometimes it’s movie stars. I love working with Yakshagana, Mahabharata, and all things Kannada - namma Kannada, namma hemme (our Kannada, our pride). Portraits are a favourite too, from Bappa (Lord Ganesha) to Puneeth Rajkumar or Virat Kohli, all in coloured powders.
How I Work
It’s mostly freehand, chalk to start, then powder. For tough portraits, I use a tablet for reference, but never a stencil. Want more drama? I do live rangoli art performance - finishing a giant piece while everyone watches. My record's 20x20 ft in one hour.
Not Just Me
For super big projects, I bring my artist friends in. We work together to get it all done on time, no shortcuts.

My Story
Hey, I’m Chandan from Karwar. My art? It’s all heart and a bit of hometown spice. You’ll spot Daivaradhane vibes, Yakshagana, Hanuman, Bappa – all that Karnataka magic. Made that famous 'Kantara' rangoli too, felt like a real dantakathe (legend). But yeah, I’m also the guy chilling by waterfalls, road-tripping with friends, or tearing up at a movie like '777 Charlie'. My art’s a mix – Namma Kannada Namma Hemme (Our Kannada, Our Pride), but also just enjoying the ride.
